Edge of Glory base color was actually a pretty good black creme. The first coat seemed a bit thin and streaky, but it was opaque with the second coat.
This is one coat of Edge of Glory holographic top coat with another coat of Seche Vite.
The set is still available at the time of this post on http://www.barneys.com/Edge-of-Glory-3D-Holographic-Nail-Lacquer/00505014880810,default,pd.html?cgid=GAGA_COSMETICS and it happens to be on sale for $29.00 plus they offer free shipping. You actually don't need the set because you could easily recreate this look for less than $10.00 if you buy Wet n' Wild Black Creme and the new Finger Paints Asylum polish, but the reason why I bought this set was because of the packaging. I can't resist polish if it comes packaged like this. ^_^
oooh i love how the flakies are predominantly orange and blueee! that's super pretty. haha i'm sure DL is worth the splurge. The bottles are sooo cute, and they make the polish inside look better too :P
ReplyDeleteWow. Those flakies are AMAZING!
ReplyDelete@Eileen It is totally worth the splurge on Deborah Lippmanns, but since this one has a dupe I think people will buy those.
ReplyDelete@Jenni Lee Agree!
