Lady Sings the Blues is a navy blue jelly base with silver hex glitter and small silver glitter as well. I used two coats with a coat of Seche Vite to make it nice and smooth.
Across the Universe on the other hand has a bright blue jelly base with green, silver glitter and small silver glitter in there as well. I love this polish as much for the name as I do for the contents in the polish. This polish had a thinner formula than LStB, so I had to use three coats with a coat of Seche Vite.
The really neat thing about both of these polishes is that you have an instant jelly sandwich without having to do any layering. So, it's practically a jelly sandwich in a bottle! ^_^
Hmmmm.... I think I might need to get Lady sings the blues. I have across the universe and when I wore it I wore it sheer, it looks mermaid-ish to me.
ReplyDeleteI have Do you think I'm sexy, if you familiar with that one it's clear jelly with red hex glitter.... I haven't figured out what to do with that one yet.
They both look great on you!
Great comparison, Rosalinda! These are nothing alike imo. I really like Across the Universe! :D
ReplyDeleteI need to wear Lady Sings the Blues again! It looks so lovely on your nails!
ReplyDeleteawww when will i be able to try these babies.. goshh i'm jealous hahaa.. those shades are lovely!
ReplyDeletecan't find any reseller here in philippines...
@Jenni Lee Haha AtU also reminds me of mermaids! I want that red hex glitter polish! *sigh we can't have it all!
ReplyDelete@Eileen I agree, but people always think that are similar just because they're blue I guess.
@Pauline I loved LStB! So I agree! Wear it, soon!
@Diane awwww. My heart goes out to you. I have so many lemmings for foreign polishes and I know how frustrating it is knowing you can't get to them.
