When I was first introduced to Deborah Lippmann it was because of her amazing glitters, but I never gave much thought to her other finishes. The only reason why I picked up Waking Up In Vegas and Naked was because it came in a set with Happy Birthday and a really cool rollup bag onHSN.com. I haven't used the rollup bag yet, but that's cute packaging for you.. or me.
Waking Up In Vegas is a light grey creme with beige undertones. The formula was a bit thick, but not too thick where it was impossible to use. I used two coats with a coat of Seche Vite.
Naked is hands down my favorite nude of all the nudes I have tried. I have worn this polish quite a few times and might possibly have to pick up another bottle for backup. I used three coats with a coat of Seche Vite.
The only thing that about these polishes is that they retail for $16.00 each, so they are quite pricey but worth it in my opinion. I apologize for the short posts and late post from yesterday, but I have been sick to stomach since yesterday. No idea what the cause is, but it seems to be a 24-48 hour bug that has been going around. I am feeling better today, but still weak and nauseous so I think I'll go back to bed now. ^_^
ya lipmann polishes are pricey but they don't chip as easily I find! your nails look awesome I love the first color!
ReplyDeleteBoth of these are really pretty on you! I could never spend much on a nude polish though, since I hardly wear nudes! Did you get food poisoning? I hope you feel better! Being sick is the worst =( It makes you realize how precious your health is!!
ReplyDeleteNaked looks like your Brucci Bare Essentials. Both Lippmann look so nice, creamy and smooth. Your nails look really nice! I hope you feel better!!! :(
ReplyDelete@Pop Champagne Thanks!
ReplyDelete@Eileen I don't think I would have spent that much on Naked before I knew how beautiful it was. No, it wasn't food poisoning. It was some sort of virus, but I was much better by Tuesday! OMG, yes. We take our health for granted way too much.
@Jenni Lee It's about the same shade but Naked is more creme and Brucci is more almost jelly-like. Thanks for the sweet thoughts.
